TOXICS EPIDEMIOLOGY

It is the mission of the Toxics Epidemiology Program to assess and reduce toxic-related disease and injury, to advocate for solutions to toxic exposures and to educate the public so that they are empowered to protect themselves, their families and their communities in Los Angeles County.

Trained staff are available to provide you with the most up-to-date information about the health effects of toxin exposure. It is our hope that you can use this information to make informed decisions and take actions to protect your health. If you are not able to find what you need on our website, please contact our Program at (213) 738-3220 or tox@ph.lacounty.gov and somebody from our staff will gladly assist you.
